Vegan Chocolate Waffles with Berry Syrup

For the love of chocolate and waffles ♡

Berry Syrup Recipe: 

1 bag frozen berries (about 2-3 Cups)

2 Cups Water

4 Tbs Organic Sugar

Place frozen berries in a saucepan with water and sugar. Set at medium high heat and allow to boil for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to low and continue to boil for 30 minutes until liquid gets thicker. Once thick, turn off burner. Let cool before serving.  


​Batter Recipe: 

2 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour

3/4 C dark cocoa powder 

2 tbs baking powder

1/2 C raw coconut sugar 

1/2 tsp salt 

3 cups plantbased milk

Juice from one orange

1/3 C coconut oil
Mix all ingredients well. Spray waffle iron with coconut oil and add waffle batter. Makes about 5 waffles.
